I love Rosemary Clement-Moore for writing a psychic teen detective series.
In "Prom Dates from Hell," she pits Maggie Quinn against the worst of all high school dramas - prom. Oh, and there is a demon running loose as well, and Maggie can stop it only if she will embrace her own 'otherworldly' side.
I had oodles of fun reading this and her two follow-up books, "Hell Week" set in Maggie's first year of college, and "Hell on Wheels" which follows Maggie on spring break. Clement-Moore manages to both poke fun at things like prom, sororities, and spring break trips while wrapping the story around these trappings of the young America.
Plus there are demons, psychic powers, witches and lots of other good stuff.
